Farming Incremental But With Guns Crops and Items Reference

Low, medium, and high value harvests—and what to do with coins.

Crops and Items

Crops are both scenery and currency engines in Farming Incremental But With Guns. This reference page explains value tiers called out by Steam achievements and how to think about “items” when most progression is station upgrades rather than an RPG inventory.

Value tiers

Steam achievements require destroying:

  • 1,000 low value crops — volume fodder; ideal for warm-ups and damage testing
  • 500 medium value crops — the workhorse income tier for most of the early and mid game
  • 100 high value crops — elite targets; fewer spawns, bigger spikes

Learn silhouettes in meadows first, then re-identify them under winter snow and desert haze using the Biomes Map.

How tiers interact with enchants

Crop Enchants can make any tier look gigantic. Size is not the same as value tier—an enormous low-value plant can still count as low for achievements. When hunting tallies in Achievements, verify the feedback the game gives on kill, not just vibes.

What counts as items

Instead of looter gear slots, your “loadout” is:

  • Current gun upgrades from Upgrade Stations
  • Farm modules (growth, expansion)
  • Enchant states
  • Soft currency (coins on the ground and in the wallet)

Treat coins as hot potato—reinvest using Early Game Build or Late Game Build logic.

Field composition tips

  • Mix tiers so achievements advance passively while you play for fun.
  • Leave lanes so giants do not trap you (How to Grow Giant Crops).
  • After coin avalanches, sweep the ground before replanting.
  • In winter, pause to re-spot pale low-value crops you still need.

Demo notes

The demo teaches planting and shooting the same tiers at smaller scope. Full release players should still follow How to Play habits when content expands.

Mark destruction progress on the Achievement Tracker. Plan purchases with the Upgrade Checklist. For narrative routing across climates, use the Biome Walkthrough.

Crops are the enemy, the product, and the paycheck. Know which paycheck you are farming each session.

Session templates by crop goal

Volume template: plant fast, clear low and medium tiers, buy growth if spawns thin out, ignore screenshot perfection.
Payout template: wait for enchant size, prioritize medium and high value, sweep every coin, buy payout or damage.
Mixed template: two volume clears, one payout clear, then a station visit that matches the weaker pillar.

Items in this game are mostly persistent upgrades, so treat each purchase like equipping a new permanent attachment. If a node does not change the next clear, it was not an item—it was a souvenir. Keep souvenirs for after Act pressure drops. Revisit this page whenever a new crop silhouette appears so achievement tallies stay honest.

Naming confusion and how to stay calm

Players will invent nicknames for crops. That is fine for voice chat, dangerous for achievement tracking. When in doubt, trust kill feedback and Steam counters over nicknames. If a patch renames produce, update your notes and keep the value-tier mindset: volume, workhorse, elite.

Coins on the ground are also “items” in a sense—temporary ones. Treat uncollected coins as a tax on impatience. A disciplined sweep after every giant collapse funds cleaner station visits and fewer regret purchases. Combine that habit with the upgrade checklist and your wallet starts behaving like a planned build instead of a carnival.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What are low, medium, and high value crops?

Steam achievement tiers for destruction counts. Learn their looks in meadows first.

Do bigger crops always mean higher value?

Not necessarily. Enchants change size; value tier is a separate identity.

Is there a traditional item inventory?

Progression is mostly station upgrades and enchants, not an RPG backpack.

How do I farm high value crops faster?

Reach late enchanted biomes with strong damage—see [Late Game Build](/tier-list/late-game-build/).
